I have always been "chunky." It started with Puberty. I started becoming self conscience of my body when I was wearing that little strap Bikini. I started hiding behind my t shirts and cut off shorts. Then the bathing suit went to a 1 piece. But I still hid behind the other clothes.

As I got older the pounds piled on until when I was 22 years old and 215 lbs. Yet I was not done adding those pounds. I ended up being 245 pounds at age 30. I had to do something.

I started one diet after another. Any one you can think of, I probably did.
Atkins, South Beach, Susan Powter, Low Fat, Low Carb, Low Calories, No Sugar, Slim Fast and a 1200 Calorie Starvation Diet plan. I have tried them all!

Uggg! ENOUGH!!!

I started doing the 6 Week Body Makeover by Micheal Thurmond (sold by Provida.com).
I went from 245 lbs to 185 lbs. I ate Whole fresh foods,, White meats, fresh Vegetables and Fruits No Salt, Fat, Sugar. Eating every 2 1/2 hours. Drinking lots of water. Walking 5 times a week for 45 to 60 minutes a day. Body Sculpting 2 times a week. I felt wonderful.
But I got to a point where I could not stay on the plan.I struggled to get my self through 1 day and stay on plan. I just couldnt do it any more.
I would make it through 4 meals and then blow the next one. I felt like I had not will power.

What was wrong with me?
I just could not figure it out.

So I tried playing with some other plans. The Discover Health Network did a diet thing, It worked for a little while and then the same thing. I just did not stay on the plan.

I gained back all but 15 lbs of the weight I had lost. I am now back up to 230 lbs.


Then I tried the Weight Watchers Plan. It worked and I lost 11 lbs.
Then I went off it. And hit hard.

My friends started talking about KNOW HOW by Don Lemmon. So I asked alot of questions. I read alot of threads on the site. I learned about the plan and Am currently doing the program to the best of my abilities as I have not purchased the Book Yet.

This seems like a plan that Should be easy to stick with. That is what I need. Yeah right!

I went back to the 6 Week Body Make Over and have been On Plan now for a couple of weeks. I am loosing a couple of pounds a week. So I guess that is good. Slow and steady.


Life has its way of letting you know its not the right time for this I guess.
